HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6486RESOLUTION NO. 6486 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6431, a hearing was held on this 16th day of August, 1955, regarding; the proposed "Improvement of D AVENUE from the centerline of Division Street to the North Boundary of the City of National City and CLAIRMONT AVENUE from the centerline of Division Street to the North Boundary of the City of rational City", and WHEREAS, at the time of said hearing the owners of more than fifty per cent (50%) of the area in said improvement district; protested the proposed improvement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City as follows: The protests against the proposed "Improvement of DREXEL AVENUE from the centerline of Division Street to the North Boundary of the City of National City and CLAIRMONT AVENUE from the centerline of Division Street to the North Boundary of the City of National City" are hereby sustained and the proceedings heretofore taken for said improvement be, and they are hereby, abandoned; and That, pursuant to Division 7, Part 3, Chapter 8, Section 5222 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, no further proceedings shall be taken under the "Improvement Act of 1911" for a period of one year from this date.
