HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6321RESOLUTION GRANTING SPECIAL ZONE VARIANCE RESOLUTION NO. 6321 Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of National City as follows: That a special zone variance permit be granted to NATIONAL CENTER, INC., TWELFTH AND HIGHLAND, INC. and HIGHLAND SHOPPING CENTER, for the purpose of allowing C-3 usage in an R-2 and R-4 Zone by erecting buildings and parking lots. Said property is described as follows: All that portion of Quarter Section 132 of Rancho de la Nacion in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to the map thereof No. 166, made by Morrill and filed in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County, May 11, 1869, described as follows: Commencing at the northwesterly corner of said Quarter Section 132; thence south 19° 00' east along the westerly line of said Quarter Section, a distance of 661.39 feet, to a point on the westerly pro- longation of the southerly line of land conveyed to Sumner Norman Stowe and wife by deed dated May 22, 1944 and recorded in book 1690; page 46, of Official Records; thence north 71° east along the southerly line of said Stowe's land 235. 62 feet to the southeasterly corner of said land, being the true point of beginning; thence northl9° 00' west along the easterly line of said land and along the northerly pro- longation thereof, a distance of 300. 68 feet more or less to an intersection with the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of 9th Street, as said street is shown on map 2241 of the May K. Marshall Tract, said map having been filed in the office of the Recorder of said San Diego County December 29, 1939; thence north 71° 00' east (record north 71° 01' east) along said westerly prolongation of the southerly line of 9th Street 235. 88 feet to the north- westerly corner of lot 13 of said May K. Marshall Tract; thence south 19° 00' east along the westerly line of said lot 13 and along the southerly prolongation thereof 300.69 feet more or less to the easterly prolongation of the northerly line of land conveyed to Reseda Properties, Inc., by deed dated October 4, 1952 and recorded in book 4657, page 375 of Official Records; thence south 71° 00' west along said last mentioned easterly prolongation and along said northerly line of the land so conveyed to Reseda Properties, Inc., 235. 88 feet more or less to the southeasterly corner of the aforementioned land conveyed to Stowe, being the true pointof beginning. (North of the proposed loth Street approx- imately 250 feet east of Highland Avenue.) That said permit is granted upon the conditions and recommend- ations of the City Planning Commission as hereinafter set forth. Construction is to be commenced within ninety days from date hereof. This permit shall expire day of 19 Any violation of any of the above conditions will void this permit and the same shall lapse and be of no effect.
