BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City., California, as follows:
The City of National City does hereby accept that
certain interest in real property situated in the City of National
City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly
described in a certain conveyance of easement dated May
1954 from 12TH AND HIGHLAND, INC., a corporation, NATIONAL
CENTER INC., a corporation, and HIGHLAND SHOPPING CENTER,
a corporation, a. copy of which said conveyance of easement is
hereto attached and by reference is made a. part hereof as though
set forth in length.
The City Clerk of National City, California is hereby
authorized and directed to receive on behalf of the City of National
City, California, said document conveying said easement and to
record the same in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego
County, California.
Passed and adopted on the 7i..‘ day of May, 1954.
EASEMENT
12th AND HIGHLAND, INC., a corporation, NATIONAL
CENTER INC., a corporation, and HIGHLAND SHOPPING CENTER, a corp-
oration, for a valuable consideration, do hereby grant to the
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal corporation of the sixth class
in the County of San Diego, State of California, an easement for
sewer purposes over, under, along, and across the following des-
cribed property, suitated in the County of San Ciego, State of
California:
A portion of twenty acre Lots land 2 of Quarter
section 132, of Rancho de la Nacion, National City,
County of San Diego, State of California, according to
Map No. 166, made by Morrill, on file in the office of
the County Recorder of San Diego, described as follows:
A parcel of land being five (5) feet on either side
of the following described line: Commencing at the
intersection of the easterly property line of Highland
Avenue with the northerly property line of Twelfth Street;
thence North 18° 491 30" West a distance of 444.64 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence North 70° 53' 00"
East 50.78 feet; thence North 23° 41' 30" East 80.25 feet;
thence North 70° 46' 30" East 421.60 feet to a point A;
thence North 70° 46' 30" East 115.68 feet; thence sough
41° 17' 30" East 65.85 feet; thence North 71° 20' 12"
East 260.15 feet to a point B; thence South 18° 20' 20"
East 111.75 feet; thence South 70° 42' 20" East 29.24
feet to a point on the easterly line of that parcel of
land described in deed to National Center Inc., et el
recorded June 9, 1953 in Book 4883, Page 590 of the
Official Records on file in the office of the Recorder
of said County of San Diego, distant thereon North 18° 48'
West 113.27 feet from the southeast corner of said land.
Also beginning at said Point B, the true point of
beginning, thence North 18° 54' 00" West 108.71 feet;
thence North 33° 281 00" East 237.76 feet to the north-
erly line of said Twenty Acre Lot 2, said point being
distant 168.02 feet westerly along said northerly line
from the northeasterly corner of said Twenty Acre Lot 2.
Also beginning at said point A, the true point of
beginning) thence North 19° 44' 45" West 393.18 feet to
the southerly line of the May K. Marshall Tract accord-
ing to Map thereof No. 2241 filed in the office --'of the
County Recorder of said County of San Diego on December
29, 1939.
together with the right of ingress and egress thereto and there-
from for the purpose of improving, repairing, and otherwise main-
taining said easement from time to time for sewer purposes.
