HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6221RESOLUTION NO. 6221 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, as follows: That certain improvements are proposed to be done and made within the boundaries of the proposed assessment dis- trict hereinafter described, within the City of National City, California. In connection therewith, and with reference to the improvement of Harbison Avenue between Division and 4th Avenues, said City Council hereby finds and determines as follows, to wit: 1. The nature of the proposed improvements consists of the construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, storm drains and street pavements upon Harbison Avenue, hereinafter described with the City of National City. 2. The location and extent of the proposed improvements will involve the construction of the above described improvements upon the following described public streets and public ways within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district hereinafter described, to wit: On Harbison Avenue between Division and 4th Avenues. 3. The boundaries of the district of lands proposed to be especially assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said proposed work and improvement are as shown upon a map or plat on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of National City, which said map indicates by a boundary line the territory to be included in the pro- posed assessment district and which said ma.p or plat governs for all details as to the extent of the district; said map or plat is designated "Ma.p of proposed Assessment District for Improvement of Harbison Avenue, between Division and 4th Avenues, in the City of National City, County of Sa.n Diego, State of California". 4. The percentage of the cost of said proposed improve- ment upon benefited property is as follows: One hundred per cent. 5. The statute under which it is proposed to conduct the proceedings for the improvement proceedings is the "IMprove- ment Act of 1911", of the State of California, with Improvement Bonds to be issued as authorized under the provisions of the "Improve- ment Act of 1911". 6. The proposed work to be done is described upon the plans and specifications which are on file with the City Clerk of the City of National City and said plans and specifications are hereby referred to for all particulars relative thereto and are open to inspection by anyone interested.
