WHEREAS, on the 20th day of July, 1954, the City
Council of the City of National City, California, adopted this
Resolution No. 6221
regarding Preliminary Determination under
Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931, with reference to proposed improvements on Ha.rbison
Between Division a.nd 4th .Avenues;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED and
determined by the City Council of the City of National City that after
taking the steps provided by said Sections 2820, 2821, 2822, and
2823 of said Act hureina.bove referred to, that it is the initial view
of this legislative body that the contemplated improvement des-
cribed in said Resolution No. 6221 , above referred to, is one in
which the probable assessments will not exceed the limitations set
up in Division 4 of the Streets a.nd Highways Code and otherwise
known as the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and
Majority Protest Act of 1931".
That the Clerk of the City of National City is hereby
directed and ordered to give notice of the contemplated action of
this City Council, by mailing prepaid post cards giving notice of the
finding and proposed action of the City Council, said card shall be
mailed to each person to whom land in the proposed assessment
district is assessed on the last equalized County assessment roll
a.vailable on the date the notices commence and his or her address,
as shown upon such roll and to any person, whether owner in fee or
having a lien upon or legal or equitable interest in, anyland within
the proposed district who ha.s filed with the Clerk his or her name and
address and a designation of the land in which he or she is interested.
Said notice shall be in the form provided by Part 7 of Division 4 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, otherwise
known as the 51Specia.l Assessment Investigation, Limitation and
Majority Protest Act of 1931",
