BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City as follows:
1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Labor Code of
the State of California., Section 1770 to 1781, the general prevail-
ing rate of per diem wa.ges in this City or locality for ea.ch craft or
type of workman or mechanic needed to execute a Contra.ct for the
completion of the gra.ding and pa.ving in the vicinity of the new fire
station, and the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and over-
time work, shall be a.s follows:

one-half times the above prevailing wage rates of per• diem wages
shall be paid for overtime, Sunday and Legal Holiday work.
2. The her•einbefore determined rate of per diem wages
shall be specified in the Notice calling for bids for said proposed work,
and also in the Contract for such work.
