BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of National City, California, as follows:
SECTION 1: That that certain Change Order

-dated January 8, 1952, a copy of which is
attached hereto, and issued pursuant to the
requirements of Public Law 24+5, 82nd Congress
amending a certain contract NOy (U) 22039
between the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT and the
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal corporation,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
SECTION 2: That MAURICE CARRIGAN, Mayor of the
City of National City, is hereby authorized
and directed to execute the same for and
upon behalf of the said City.

Examination of Records Clause
Gentlemen:
Pursuant to the requirements of Public Law'245, 82nd Congress,
the subject contract is amended to include the following clause:
"Examination of Records (a) The Contractor agrees that
tT.e Comptroller General of the United States or any of
his duly authorized representatives shall, until the
expiration of three years after final payment under this
contract, have access to and the right to examine any
directly pertinent books, documents, papers, and records
of the Contractor involving transactions related to this
contract.
"(b) The Contractor further agrees to include the
following provisions, with appropriate insertions, in all
his subcontracts hereunder: (Name of subcontractor)
agrees that the Comptroller General of the United States
or any of his duly authorized representatives shall, until
the expiration of three years after final payment under
prime contractimy(U) 22039 C:,qween the United States of
America andCity of National `_a`Fe access to and the right
to examine any directly pertinent books, documents, papers,

actions related to this contract."
All other provisions of the contract are to remain in full
force and effect.
Please indicate your acceptance of this change in the space
provided therefor on the original and three copies herewith
and return the original and two copies to the Public Works
