RESOLUTION VACATING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET, TOMTIT: A PORTION OF 14th STREET AND HARRI- SON AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the jurisdiction and control of the streets and alleys lying in the City of National City, are vested in said City of National City; and WHEREAS, time for hearing for objections to the proposed vacation was set for 8:00 P.M. on the 6th day of March, 1951, at the City Hall, National City, California; and WHEREAS, an Ordinance of Intention to close, setting forth said time has been published in accordance with law; and WHEREAS, there was no one appearing to object to the pro- posed vacation; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said street herein- after described is unnecessary for present or prospective public street use; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, that the said street, to -wit: Parcel . Being a portion of Fourteenth street described as follows: Beginning at a point on the intersection of the mean high tide line as shown on Miscellaneous Map thereof No. 219 on file in the Office of the Re- corder of San Diego County, California and the northerly line of 14th Street, as shown on said Map thereof No. 348, said point lying south 10 03'44" west 236.54 feet from point No. 40 of said mean high tide line; thence north 71042'14" east along the said northerly line of 14th Street a distance of 86.27 feet more or less to an inter- section with the westerly line of the right-of-way of the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railway accord- ing to deed recorded August 12, 1881, in Deeds, Book 40, Page 117; thence south 5047' west along the westerly line of said right-of-way a -distance of 43.81 feet; thence south 71042'14° west 89.98 feet more or less to a point on the mean high tide line; thence north 100O3144" east along said mean high tide line a distance of 45.45 feet to the point of beginning. Parcel 2. Being a portion of Harrison Avenue described as follows: Commencing at point No. 40 on the mean high tide line as shown on Miscellaneous Map thereof No. 219 on file in the Recorder's Office of San Diego County California; thence south 10003.44" west 32.42 feet; thence north 83023'57u east to -a point on the west- erly line of Harrison Avenue, being also the east- erly line of Block 307 of National City as shown on said Map thereof No. 348 said point being the true point of beginning; thence southerly along the east- erly line of said Block 307 to an intersection with the westerly line of the right-of—way of the Atchi- son, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway according to Deed recorded August 12, 1881, on file in Book 40, Page 117 of deeds in said Recorder's Office; thence north- erly along the westerly line of said right-of-way to a point lying on a line produced north 83023'57u east from the true point of beginning; thence south 83023.57U west to said true point of beginning. be and the :same is hereby vacated and closed, reserving to said City, all those certain easements and rights of way for structures enumerated in Section 8330 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
