WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National
City, California, finds that the hereinafter described area
is within the corporate limits of the City of National City
and owned in fee by the United States Government; and
WHEREAS, there is situated on said area a Navy
Housing Project known as HOMOJA PROJECT; and
WHEREAS, the City of National City is unable at
this time, and will be unable until June 30, 1952, to collect
the garbage and rubbish that will accumulate on aforesaid
area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of National City, California, that Ordinance No.
762, as Amended, of the City of National City, California,
shall not apply from the date of this resolution up to June
30, 1952, on the following described area:
Beginning at the intersecting point of Division
Street and Roosevelt Avenue, thence south to
Fifth Street thence west to Hoover Avenue,
thence south tb-Eighth Street thence west to
Wilson Avenue thence south to Eleventh Street
thence westerly to Harbor Drive thence northerly
along Harbor Drive to what would be the westerly
projection of Division Street thence east to the
point of beginning,
All within the corporate limits of the
City of National City, California;
and said area is also known as HOMOJA PROJECT.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City, ,California, this
day of June 19 51 , by the following vote, to -wit:
