IL) '. A-h -. RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
WHEREAS, the property herein described, designated as
"Sweetwater Delta", is uninhabited and is adjacent to the corporate
limits of the City of National City, California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the public interest
and for the common benefit that said property, designated as
"Sweetwater Delta", be annexed to said city to provide access roads
to property lying within the corporate limits of said city but
separated from the existing highway by the unincorporated and
uninhabited territory described herein;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by. the City Council of the City
of National City, California, that pursuant to Section No. 35310
of the Government Code of the State of California, the City
Council of the City of National City, hereby initiates proceedings
to annex to the City of National City the following property,
designated as "Sweetwater Delta" located in the County of San Diego,
State of California, and bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Southerly City limits, said
point being opposite station 155 i 86.84 on the westerly
right-of-way line of State Highway as shown on right-of-
way Map xl-SD-2-G of the Department of Public Works,
Division of Highways, State of California, thence S 18°
33'59" W a distance of 1136.98 feet, thence S 14°25'10"
E a distance of 250.56 feet, thence along a curve concave
to the right of radius 280 feet and central angle of
69°47'37" a distance of 341.08 feet, thence S 71°46' W
a distance of 119.51 feet, thence 5 18°14' E A distance
of 100 feet, thence N 71°46' E a distance of 88.05 feet,
thence along a curve concave to the right of radius
280 feet and central angle of 82°12'02" a distance of
401.71 feet; thence S 18°33'59" E a distance of 1326.66
feet to a point on the Northerly line of Chula Vista
City limits said line being the Southerly line of
Quarter Section 160; thence S 71037'45" W along the
southerly line of Quarter Section 160 and continuing
along the Southerly line of Quarter Sections 174 and
179 to an intersection with -the mean high tide line
as established by a recorded document "Agreement of
Arbitration of the Ordinary High :dater Mark" covering

certain lands -in National City, Chula Vista, and County
'territory between the two cities, said intersection lying
N 8043'18" W distant 36.85 feet from monument 87 of said
mean high tide line thence N 8°43'18" W a distance of
103.30 feet to monument 86, thence continuing along said mean
high tide line to a point of intersection With the south—
erly City Limits of National City, said point lying be—
tween monuments 54 and 53 and N 31°10' W distant 26.84
feet from monument 54 of said mean high tide line, thence
N 71°44'34" E along the Southerly City Limits of National
City to the point of beginning..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the time and place the City Council
will hear protests made by any person owning real property within
the aforesaid territory shall be at 8 o'clock P.M. July 5, 1950,
at the Council Chambers in the City Hail, Ncitional City, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed
to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least once
a week for the two weeks prior to the aforesaid hearing in the
National City News a newspaper of general circulation published in
said City.
