Davis through his Real Estate Agent Charles Anderson, has made an offer to purchase from the City of National City, California, for the sum of $4,773.40, those certain lots located in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, and bounded and described as folldws: Lots 1 to 10, and 13 to 22 in Block 87 Lots 15 to 22 in Block 88 Lots 1 to 10, and 13 to 22 in Block 105 Lots 1 to 10 and 13 to 22 i Block 106 Lots 1 to 10, and 13 to 22. in Block 152 and; WHEREAS, said Charles M. Davis has depodted his check with the City Manager in the sum of $4,773.40 and; WHEREAS, said Charles M. Davis has agreed to reserve to the City of National City aAt,.aasement for drainage purposes across such lot or lots within the above described property as the City Engineer shall prescribe for adequate drainage purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be for the common benefit that said property be sold, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an escrow agreement providing that said property be transferred to the said Charles M. Davis for the sum of $4,773.40, subject to an easement for drainage and dredging purposes across said property as prescribed by the City Engineer; and subject to an agreement by the buyer to install a solid 8 foot fence on 24th Street if he maintains a junk yard bordering 24th Street That the City of National City furnish a title policy to Charles M. Davis at the close of said escrow and that the May©r is hereby authorized to sign a deed on behalf of said City Conveyingsaid property to Charles M.
