WHEREAS, a written petition signed by THOMAS
A. CLARKSON, President of SAN DIEGO HOMES, INC.,
a corporation, was filed with the City Council re-
questing that the following described property be
annexed to the City of National City.
The real property in San Diego County, Calif-
ornia, described as follows:
Those portions of the Southwesterly
Quarter of Quarter Section 104, of
Rancho de la Nacion, according to
Map thereof No. 166 by Morrill, filed
in the office of the Recorder of San
Diego County, described as follows:
PARCEL 1. Commencing at a point in the westerly
line of said Southwesterly Quarter which
is South 190 East 660 feet from the
Northwesterly corner of said Southwester-
ly Quarter; thence North 71° East 330
feet; thence South 190 East 130 feet;
thence North 71° East 330 feet; thence
South 19° East 530 feet to a point in
the Southerly line of said Southwesterly
Quarter; thence South 71° West along
said Southerly line 660 feet to the
Southwesterly corner of said Southwest-
erly Quarter; thence North 19° West along
the Westerly line of said Southwesterly
Quarter 660 feet to the point of commence-
ment.
PARCEL 2. Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of
said Southwesterly Quarter and running
thence North 71° East along the Northerly
line of said Southwesterly Quarter 330
feet; thence South 190 East 660 feet;
thence South 71 West 330 feet to a point
in the Westerly line of said Southwesterly
Quarter; thence North 19° West along said
Westerly line 660 feet to the point of
commencement;EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East-
erly 150 feet of the most Northerly 170
feet,
AND WHEREAS, said petition of THOMAS A.
CLARKSON, President of SAN D1EGO HOMES, INC.,
a corporation, states that it is the owner of
said land; that said land is vacant and unin-
habited;
AND WHEREAS, both parcels hereinbefore describ-
ed are contiguous to the City of National City;
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has investigated
aforesaid described property and ascertained that
the same is now vacant and uninhabited;
NOW, T.ErORE, the City Council does hereby
resolve to annex the aforesaid parcels of land and
in accordance with the boundaries hereinafter de-
scribed, designates the said territory as;

described as follows;

corner of said Southwesterly Quarter; thence
North 19° West along the Westerly line of
said Southwesterly Quarter 660 feet to the
point of commencement.
PARCEL 2. Commencing at the Northwesterly corner
of said Southwesterly Quarter and run-
ning thence North 71u East along the
Northerly line of said Southwesterly
Quarter 330 feet; thence South 19° East
660 feet; thence South 71° West 330 feet
to a point in the Westerly line of said
Southwesterly Quarter; thence North 19°
West along said Westerly line 660 feet
to the point of commencement; EXCEPTING
THEREFROM the Easterly 150 feet of the
most Northerly 170 feet.
The City Council further designates that a hearing
shall be held at otclock M., on the l5- day of
{� 1948, in the Council Chambers, City Mall,
City of National City, at which time and place any person
owning real property within such territory heretofore pro-
posed to be annexed and having any objections to the pro-
posed annexation may appear before the City Council of the
City of National City, and show cause, if any, why such
territory should not be so annexed.
The City Council is directed to publish this notice
once a week for two (2) successive weeks, prior to the
hearing, in the National City News, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City of National
City, California.
