CALIFORNIA January 26, 1948 Honorable Mayor and City Council City of National City Gentlemen: MILDRED DUDACEK DEPUTY The attached letter from 13aranovts, Jewelers, shows an error of $3.76 overpayment in their 3rd Quarterly settlement of City Sales Tax, which they have corrected in theft Tax Return for the Fourth Quarter by deducting that amount from the net payment. As this constitutes, in effect, a refund it is asked that the Council authorize the Treasurer to accept settlement as offered in lien of issuing a warrant covering refund of overpayment.
