NATIONAL CITY LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1 • WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of National City, California, having made and filed on the 17th day of June, 1947, with the Clerk of the City Council of the City of National City a report, in writing, as required by Resolution of Intention No. 4419, adopted by said City Council on thel7thday of June , 1947 , and on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, and said Clerk having presented the said report to said City Council for consideration, and said report appearing in all particulars to be in the form and substance required by law, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of National City, as follows: THAT Tuesday, the 5th day of August, 1947, at 7:30 otelock P. M. of said day, and the Chamber of the City Council on the first floor of the City Hall, situated on the easterly side of National Avenue at Thirteenth Street, in said City of National City, be and the same hereby are appointed as the time and place for hearing protests in relation to the following proposed im- provement, to -wit: The furnishing of electric current for the lighting of the following streets in the City of National City, California, to -wits NATIONAL AVENUE, in said City, between the southerly curb line of Fifth Street and the Northerly durb line of Tenth Street; tIGBTS STREET, in said City, between a line parallel to and 10 feet Westerly from the westerly line of National Avenue and the westerly curb line of A Avenue; Together with the maintenance of the posts, wires, conduits, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 and lamps on the aforesaid streets, between the points herebefore mentioned, all of which proposed improvement -is more particularly described in said Resolution of Intention No. 4417 to which ref- erence its hereby made for further particulars. That such furnishing of electric current and such maintenance of appliances shall be for the period of one year from and after August_1, 1947, to -wit: to and including July 31, 1948. That_all of said work shall be done pursuant to said Res- olution of Intention And in accordance with the plans and spec- ifications contained in the report of the City Engineer City, being Document No. 6-16-11, on file in the office Clerk of the said City, And said Clerk of said City is hereby directed to be conspicuously posted along all streets and parts of of said of the City cause to streets 15 and other places and rigs of way owned or held by said City 16 where any work or improvement described in said Resolution of 17 Intention is to be done or made, notices of the passage of said 18 Resolution of Intuition and of the filing of said report, in the 19 manner and in the form required by law, and shall also cause a 20 notice similar in substance to be published by two consecutive 21 insertions in the NATIONAL CITY NEWS, a newspaper published and 22 circulated in the City of National City, said newspaper being 23 hereby designated by said City Council for that purpose. 24 And said Clerk is hereby further directed to post and publish 25 the said notice, as above provided, at least ten days before 26 the date set for the hearing of said protests. 27 28 29 30 31 32 .a PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, this___i7th_.. day of June , 19 47 , by the following vote, to -wit: AYES: Councilmen Adams, Newberry, Thatcher, Fritz NAYS: Councilmen NQXt9 ABSENT• Cordin;ly ATTEST •,.% I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution ?sidr;iidrex Mayor of the City of National City, Califor this Z'7th day of June 19 47 Mayor of the City of National City, Calif I hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a full and true copy of { Resolution No Ordinance r Resolutions of the of the City of National City, California, as adopted by the City Council of said Ordinances City, and approved by the Mayor of said City, on the day of 19 City Clerk of the City of National City, California.
