FRITZ. MAYOR F. J. THATCHER E. J. CHRISTMAN FRANK COROINGLY RAY NEWBERRY Assessment #3547 on the Delinquent Roll of 1942, to Joseph P. Zimmer, seems to be there through error of the then Tax Collector in not receipting the Tax Statement in full. Attached check shows that full payment was made. Kincly remove this item, together with penalties, from the Delinquent Roll. very truly yours, Vansant Tax Collector CWV/md v vember 2, 1946 Mr. J. P. Zimmer Rt. 1 Box 54 Placentia, California Dear Sir: I donot question your statement relative to a cancelled check for $7.60 for 1942 Takes. The records of Asa Webb, who died about tree years ago, show second Installment of 194E a unpaid. An error could, of course, have occurred but to correct it I would have to have a receipted Tax Statement to present of the Council with a request to clear the Delinzuent entry. I, doubt if the check would be considered es conclusive evidence of payment of a specific years taxes. If you care to register both to me I will do my best. Very truly y C. W.
