RESOLUTION NO. 4125
APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING
PROTESTS AND DIRECTING CLERK TO GIVE
NOTICE OF SAID HEARING
NATIONAL CITY LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of National City,
California, having made and filed on the 18th day of June, 1946
with the Clerk of the City Council of the City of National City
a report, in writing, as required by Resolution of Intention
No. 4117, adopted by said City Council on the 5th day of June,
1946, and on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City,
and said Clerk having presented the said report to said City
Council for consideration, and said report appearing in all
particulars to be in the form and substance required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of National
City, as follows:
THAT Tuesday, the 16d1 day of July,1946 at 7:30 o'clock
P. M. of said day,, in the Chamber of the City Council on
the first floor of the City hall, situated on the easterly side
of National Avenue at 'Thirteenth Street, in said City of National
City, be and the same hereby are appointed as the time and place
for hearing protests in relation to the following proposed im-
provement, to -wit:
The furnishing of electric current for the lighting of the
following streets in the City of National City, California, to -wit:
NATIONAL AVENUE, in said City, between the southerly curb line
of Fifth Street and the Northerly curb line of Tenth Street;
EIGHTH STREET, in said City, between a line parallel to and
10 feet Westerly from the westerly line of National Avenue and
the westerly curb line of A Avenue;
Together with the maintenance of the posts, wires, conduits,

and lamps on the aforesaid streets, between the points herebefore
mentioned, all of which proposed improvement is more particularly
described in said Resolution of Intention No. 4117 to which ref-
erence is hereby made for further particulars.
That such furnishing of electric current and such maintenance
of appliances shall be for the period of one year from and after
August 1, 194E to -wit: to and including July 31, 1947
That all of said work shall be done pursuant to said Res-
olution of Intention and in accordance with the plans and spec-
ifications contained in the report of the City Engineer of said
City, being Document No. 11727 on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the said City.
And said Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause to
be conspicuously posted along all streets and parts of streets
and other places and rights of way owned or held by said City
where any work or improvement described in said Resolution of
Intention is to be done or made, notices of the passage of said
Resolution of Intention and of the filing of said report, in the
manner and in the form required by law, and shall also cause a
notice similar in substance to be published by two consecutive
insertions in the NATIONAL CITY NEWS, a newspaper published and
circulated in the City of National City, said newspaper being
hereby disignated by said City Council for that purpose.
And said Clerk is hereby further directed to post and publish
the said notice, as above provided, at least ten days before
the date set for the hearing of said protests.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, this 18th
day of Jurte 1946 , by the following vote, to -wit:
