An over collection has mace on assessment
-172 Current Roll, Assessee s. D. Jones, 1008 b. 2bth
Street, San Diego. Kindly authorize the City Clerk to
issue a warrant to dir. Jones in the amount of s1.74.
Permission is also requested to waive
80 penalties on Addition #216 to current Roll in the
amount of45.04. This property was involved in a Quiet
Title action #115841 and the Council accepted settle-
ment in les. #2529 on November 2, 1943 but the then
Assessor for some reason failed to assess the property
in 1944. The escape was detected in 1945 but the
details had to be traced and the assessment was not
completed in time for the Assessee Delbert Guy to
pay the Taxes before December 5, 1945.
Very truly yours,
Tax Collector
