RF,SOLL'TION OF INTENTION TO CLOSE A }'OP,TION OF SEVENTH
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, in the judgment of the Board of Trustees
of the City of National City, a municipal corporation in the
county of San Diego and state of California, the public i-n
-
terest and. convenience requires the closing up of all that
portion of Seventh Avg -;hue in said city of National City,;,
hounded and described as follows, to -wit:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the rest-
erly iie' said Seventh Avenue with the southerly line of
Twenty-fourth street, thence in a southerly direction, fol1ow
ing said westerly line of said Seventh Avenue, to the ou.th.-
eRst corner of block ?25, thence in an easterly direction,

224, thence in a northerly direction, following the easterly
line of said Seventh Avenue, to the point of intersection of
said easterly line of said Seventh Avenue with said southerly

direction, across said Seventh Avenue,to the point or place

Therefore, Be It Resolved by the hoard of Trustees
of the city of National City, California, as follows:
That it is the intention of said Board of Trustees,
and said Board of Trustees hereby leclares its intention, to
order the following street work and improvement to be done and
made, to -unit
To close u all that portion of Seventh Avenue in
the city of National City, county of San Diego, Mate of
California, hounded and described as follows, to -exit

Commencing at the point of ilitersectiorL of the west-
erly line of said Seventh Avenue with the southerly line of
Twenty-4ourth street, thence in a southerly direction, follow-
ing said westerly line of said Seventh Avenue, to the south-
east corner of block 225, thence in an easterly direction,
across said Seventh Avenue,to the southwest carper of block
224, thence in a northerly direction, following the easterly
line of said Seventh Avenue, to the point of intersect.ion of
said easterly line of. 8aid Seventh Avenue with said southerly
line of said Twenty-fourth street, thence in a westerly di
rection, across said Seventh Avenue to the anoint or place of
beginning, including therein all intersections of streets
between said points.
That it is not deemed necessary that any land be
Taken in closing up said Seventh avenue.
That the district of lands to be affected. or bene-
fited by said work and improvement, and to be assessed to pay
the damages, costs and expenses thereof, is included within
the following exterior boundaries, to -wit:
Commencing at the northwest Corner of block 232 in
said city, thence in a southerly direction, following the
westerly boundary lines of blocks 232, 231, 230, 229, 228,
227, 226, and 225 in said city, to the southwest corner of
said. block 225, thence in an easterly direction, following
the routierir boundary lines of blocks 225 and 224 in said
city, to the southeast Corner of said blOCi 224, thence in a
northerly direction, following the easterly boundary lines of
blocks 224, 223, 222, 221, 220, 219, 218 and 217 in said city,
to the northeast corner of said block 217, thence in a westerly
direction, following the northerly boundary lines of said
blocks 217 and 232, to the point or place of beginning; the

That the National City Nevis, a weekly newspaper
published and circulated in said city of National City, be,
and it is hereby designated as the newspaper in whin the
superintendent of streets of said city, hereinafter named,
shall cause to be published., in the manner and form requires?.

That 0. E. M. Howard, the superintendent of streets
of said city, be, and he is hereby appointed and directed to
cause notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intentior.
to he posted in the manner and form required by law, and to

successive insertions in said news9per, in the manner and form
required by law.
Passed and adopted by the board of Trustees of the
city of National City, California, this 8th day of January,I9O7.
