WHEREAS, in the judgment of the Board of Trustees of

County of San Diego and state of California, the public in-

teret and convenience requires the closing up of the alley
in hlocrr ?752 in said .city of National City; said alley being
twenty feet wide and extending through the centeT egrA;d4k
block from Twenty-fourth street to Twenty-fifth street.
Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Board of Trustees
of the city of National City, California, a's follows:

and said Bard of Trustees hereby declares its intention, to
order the following street work and improvement to be done and
made, to -wit:
Ta, close up the alley in block 232 in the city of
National City, county of San. Diego, state of California; said
alley being twenty feet wide and extending through the center
of said block from Twenty-fourth street to Twenty-fifth street.
That it is not deemed necessary that any land be
taken in closing up saidwalloy.
That the d.istrict of lands to be affected or bene-
fited by said work and irnprovemt, and to he assessed to pay
the damages, costs and expenses thereof, is included within
the following exterior boundaries, to -.wit:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said block
232,, thence in a southerly direction, f"ilowing the westerly

boundary line of said block, to the southwest corner thereof,
thence in an easterly direction, following the soutberly bound-
ary line of said bioc1, to the southeast corner thereof, thence
in a northerly direction, following the easterly boundary line
of said block, to the northeast corner thereof, thence it a
westerly direction, fo11owr 1ine of
said block, to the point or place of beginning; the lands in-
eluded within said boundaries comprising the whole of said
block 232.
That the Natiofal City News, a weekly newspaper
published and 1rcu1ated in said city of National City, be,
and it is hereby designated as the newspaper in which the
superintendent of streets of said city, hereinafter named,
shall cause to be published, in the manner and form required
by law, notice of the passage of th Po4ioof Intention.
That 0. E. M. Howard, the superintendent of streets
of said city, he, and he is hereby appointed and directed to
cause notices of the passae of this Resolution of Intention
to be posted in the manner and form required. by law, and to
cause a notice, similar in substance, to be published by four
successive insertions in said newspaper, in the manner and
form required by law.
Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the
city of National City, California, this 8th day of January,1907.
