WBEPJAS, a special election was held in the City of Na t 1 ona 1 Q j t3r, California, on the 7th d ay of July, 1920, pursuant • to 0rdinance No. 499, duly passed and adopted by the Board of • Trustees of said City by more than a two-thirds v o te , on the ist day of June , 1920 , entltled. r'An Ordinance calling a Special, Election to be held in the City of National City, California,, on the 7th day of July , 1920 , and Submitting to the Qualified Voters of said City the Pro 0 s i pion of Incurring a Bonded Debt in the s tmi of $ 180,000.00, for the Acquisitionj of a cer- tain Municipal Improvement, and Designating the Election Precinct and Polithg Place , and Ap-. pointirig Election Officers for such Special Election and Pixing their Compensation."
