WBEPJAS, a special election was held in the City of
Na t 1 ona 1 Q j t3r, California, on the 7th d ay of July, 1920, pursuant

to 0rdinance No. 499, duly passed and adopted by the Board of

Trustees of said City by more than a two-thirds v o te , on the ist
day of June , 1920 , entltled.

to the Qualified Voters of said City the Pro

of $ 180,000.00, for the Acquisitionj of a cer-
tain Municipal Improvement, and Designating the
Election Precinct and Polithg Place , and Ap-.
pointirig Election Officers for such Special
Election and Pixing their Compensation."
W}1EREAS, the said special election vas held in said
City on said day, and at said election the proposition mentioned
in said Ordthance vas voted on; and
IMIREAS, the Election Board for said election has report-
ed the re ul t the reoi to this Board of Trustees , and the returns
thereof have been at a regular adjourned eetng of this Board of
Trustees held. on the 12th clay of July, l92Ojpubliciy opened , ex-
amined and canvassed, and the votes for and against the said pro-
position have been duly estimated_, and the result thereof deterxriin
e d and established,
NOW, THEREPO Re, the Board of Trustees of the City of
Natjona City, California, hereby resolves, that the result of

a bonded indebtedness in the etas of 18O,OOO.OQ,
for the 'acquisition, construction and complet-
ion of a municipal improvement, to -wit: street
work consisting of the paving of certain portions
of certain streets in said City and the construct-
ion of the necessary culverts across said streets,
all, as set forth in the ordinance calling this
eiection?tt
That all of said votes were valid and legal votes, of

which there were cast in savorof the propositions submitted at
said election
votes; and against the proposition sub-
mitted at such election _/��� vo'ces.
That the votes cast in favor of the proposition consti-
tute more than twothirds of the votes of all voters voting at

such special election.
NOW, TEtRPOR, the Board of Trustees of the City of

National City, California, do hereby declare that the proposition
submitted at said election, as hereinbefore more specifically set
out,iwas carried by more than two-thirds of the votes of all the
voters voting at such special election, and as provided by late.
BE IT PURTR RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to certify the passage of this Resolution by the Board
of Trustees of the City of National City, California.
