RESOLUTION
NO.
BE I1 RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the
City of National City, California, as follows:
That the petition of W. A. Buah, dated the 5th
day of'June, 1922, filed in the office of the City Clerk of
said City on the 6th day of June, '1922, be ;ranted and that
the said W. A. Bush and his successors and assigns be and
they are hereby permitted. and authorized to construct and
operate a railway track running from the Southerly end of
the existing track in the alley in Block 279, according to
Map To. 378 on file in the office of the County Recorder of
the County of San Diego, State of California,, Southerly along
the center line of said alley to the Northerly line of Twenty
Third Street; thence along the center line of the alley in said
Block 279 produced Southerly to the Southerly line of Twenty
Third. Street; thence Southerly along she center line of the
alley in Block 280, according to Map No. 348 on file in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of San Diego,

State of California, to the Northerly line of Twenty Fourth
Street; thence along the center line of the alley in said
Block 280 ;produced southerly to the Southerly line of Twenty
Fourth Street, of said City; all as shown and delineated
on map of the location attached to and which forms a part of
the petition herein on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Na. anal City,

PROVIDED HOWEVER) that said track shall be constructed
in such a manner as will present the least obstruction to
the free use of said streets' and alleys.
AND PRO'VIAED FURTHER, that said track shall be con—
structed so as to conform to the grade of all streets upon
which the official grade has been established and in all
other eases ehali be con9tructe. so as to conform as near as
possible to the natural grade of said streets and alleys; and
if at any time in the suture the grade on said streets and
alleys shall be established or changed, than the roadbed
and tracks constructed upon said streets and alleys shall be
made to conform thereto by Said W. A. Bush or his sue eors
or assigns, without expense to said City.
That said W. A. Bueh, his succeaor and assigns shall
keep the space betiveen the rail and for two feet oh each
side thereof, along or acroes said streets constantly in
good repair and flush with the grade of said streets and
alleys so as to afford an easy and convenient crossing for
all vehicles crossing or traveling upon said streets and alleys,
and shall also pave the space between the rails of said track
and for two feet on each side thereof with the same kind and
quality of pavement that said streets or alleys upon which
said tracks are located shall be paved if such streets or
alleys upon which such tracks shall be located shall here
after be paved.
Said W. A. Bush and his successors and assigns hall
also construct and maintain at his own expense, all necessary
drains or culverts made necessary by the construction of
said railway tracks upon said street and alleys.
That the City Engineer shall set the ne0e93ary grade
stakes for the construotion of said tracks on said streets;
and alleys, and said V. A. Bush shall construct the same
in conformity therewith.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that this permit herein granted
may at any time be revoked at the pleasure of the Board of
Trustees of said City.

California, this
