OF INTENmION TO CLOSE C AVENUE IPd THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE FULL 4PIDTH THEREOF FROM PROPERTY LINE TO PROPERTY LINT, BETWEEN THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF FIRST STREET AND THE NTHERLY LIPdE OF THIRD STREET, EXCEPTING THE INTERSECTION THEREOF WITH SECOND STREET. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the City of National City, California, that the public interest and convenience require the closing of the street hereinafter mentioned. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the intention of said Board of Trusteesto order the closing of C Avenue in said. City, for the full width thereof from property line to property line, between the Southerly line of First Street and the Northerly line of Third Street,(excepting the intersection thereof with Second Street That it is not deemed necessary that any lands be taken therefor. That the exterior boundaries of the district of lands in said City to be affected or benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the damages, costs and expenses thereof are described as follows: Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of the inter- ceotion of First Street and C Avenue and running westerly along the Southerly line of said First Street a distance of 125 feet; thence Southerly along a line parallel to and distant 125 feet Westerlyt from the Westerly line of C Avenue to the Northerly line of Third Street; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of Third Street to a point 125 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of said C Avenue; thence Northerly along a line parallel to and distant 125 feet Easterly from the Easteiv line of C Avenue to the southerly line of First Street; thence Westerly along the southerly line of First Street and the Southerly line of First Street produced Weaterly to the Southwesterly corner of said First Street and C Avenue, said coiner being the place of beginning. That the National City News, a newspaper printed and published weekly in said City and of general circulation therein, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which notice of the passage of this resolution shall be published by four successive insertions in the manner and form proms s. vided by law. The Street Superintendent of said City is hereby directed to cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work and improvement at not more than 300 feet in distance apart but not less than three in all, notices of the passage of this resolution, which notices shall be headed "ATOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK" in letters not less than one inch'. in length, and shall in legible characters state the fact of the passage of this resolution, its date and briefly the work and improvement proposed, and shall refer to this resolution for further particulars. Said Street Superintendent is also directed to cause a notice similar in substance to be published by four successive insertions in said ne*spaper designated as aforesaid for that purpose.
