as Second Street, in the City of ITat lonal City, California.

duly passed and adopted on the 26 day of December, 1911, the Board.
of Trustees of the C ity of Nat tonal C icy, California, des lared its
intention to order the hereinafter described Street work to be done
in said c ity; and whereas it is made to appear by competent ev .i-
dence that the street superintendent did then cause to be con-
spicuously posted along the line of said contemplate: work and
improvement at not more than three hundred feet in distance apart,
but not less than three in all notices of the passage of said re-o
.Iat ion, which notices were headed "Totice. of Public Work° in 1,et
ters not less than one inch in length and in legible characters
state the fact of the presage of the resolution, its date, and
briefly the work and improvement proposed,and referred. to the
resolution for further particulars; and also that there being no
daily newspaper published and c irculated in said city said. Street
Superintendent caused a notice similar in substance to be pub-
lished by four successive insertions in the' National C ity ideas, a
we Ckit. newpaper published and c irc ulat ed. in said c ity; and by
said Boari az the newspaper fl wbich such notice should
be published
.And no person havi.Jted to said work or improve
ment or to the extent of lands to be affected or benefited thereby
within ten days after the exp irat ion of the time of publication
of said notice or at all; and it appearing that it is not neees-
sary that any land be taken in said work and that the cost and
expense thereof has already been paid by the property ovrners-aP
fted and tb' no assessment on account ^f the SaD,' neceary;

line of "A" Avenue to the st line of "E" Avenue in Sanford's Sub-
division of the North-east Quarter of Quarter section One Hundred.
thirty-one (131), of National Rancho, County of San Diego, State of
California, which said street is situated within the city of
National City, be and it is hereby closed up and vacated..
Passed and athpted by the Board of Trustees of the City
of National C ity, California, this 6th day of February, 1912, by
