RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY APPROVING
THE REVISIONS TO THE SECTION 8 ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN,
AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF THE PLAN TO THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, on October 21, 1998, the U.S. Congress enacted Public Law 105-
276, known as the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act (QHWRA) notifying housing
authorities to adopt and amend an Administrative Plan, including local policies for admissions
and continued participation in accordance with the new HUD requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission's Section 8 staff has
developed, revised, and reviewed said Administrative Plan for any significant amendments or
modifications, and posted the Administrative Plan with the changes on the City's website, and
made it available at the City Clerk's Office, National City Public Library, and Section 8 Office.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Community Development
Commission of the City of National City hereby approves the revision of the Section 8
Administrative Plan, as set forth in that document dated April 5, 2011, and authorizes the
submittal of said Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Said Plan is
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
