RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF A BLUE CURB HANDICAP PARKING
SPACE WITH A SIGN IN FRONT OF THE RESIDENCE AT 541 "L" AVENUE
WHEREAS, a resident with a valid Disabled Person Placard from the State of
California Department of Motor Vehicles, has requested the installation of a blue curb handicap
parking space in front of his home at 541 "L" Avenue; and
WHEREAS, after conducting an inspection and review, staff determined that all
conditions have been met for the property to qualify for a blue curb handicap parking space; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee approved staff's recommendation at its
August 15, 2012 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
National City hereby authorizes the City Engineer to approve the installation of a blue curb
handicap parking space with a sign in front of the residence at 541 "L" Avenue.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of September, 2012.
