RESOLUTION OF THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY
TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
AS THE NATIONAL CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AUTHORIZING THE CANCELLATION OF APPROPRIATIONS
FOR CERTAIN UNFUNDED CAPITAL PROJECTS
WHEREAS, when the Successor Agency was created, new funds were
established and all unspent appropriations of the Redevelopment Agency ("RDA") were
transferred to corresponding funds and accounts of the Successor Agency, with a portion of the
unspent appropriations for various capital projects that had been established by the RDA; and
WHEREAS, there is a total of $1.57 Million in appropriations for seven capital
projects as shown in Exhibit "A" that have been carried over from last fiscal year in Fund 711,
the Redevelopment Obligations Retirement Fund; and
WHEREAS, none of these projects have corresponding funding authorized in the
current Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule ("ROPS"); and
WHEREAS, to ensure that the budget for the Successor Agency in the City's
financial system is consistent the ROPS, appropriations for these projects need to be cancelled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of the Successor Agency
to the Community Development Commission as the National City Redevelopment Agency
hereby authorizes the cancellation of appropriations for Certain Unfunded Capital Projects.
