RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE FIRST AMENDMENT
TO AN AGREEMENT WITH VIDEOTRACK LLC, INCREASING THE AGREEMENT BY
$35,000
WHEREAS, on August 1, 2019, the City of National City ("City") entered into a two-
year agreement with VideoTrack LLC for audio/video blurring, editing, synchronization,
captioning, and transcription services related to Senate Bill 1421 for a not -to -exceed amount
of $50,000; and
WHEREAS, due to an unforeseeable increase in the scope of services, the 2019
Agreement exceeded the $50,000 not -to -exceed amount; and
WHEREAS, the City and VideoTrack LLC both desire to amend the 2019 Agreement
by increasing the not -to -exceed amount by $35,000 for a new not -to -exceed amount of
$85,000 to cover the scope of the increased costs of services from the original agreement
amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Authorize the Mayor to execute the First Amendment to an Agreement
between the City of National City and VideoTrack LLC by increasing the Agreement amount
by $35,000 for a new not -to -exceed amount of $85,000.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify the passage and adoption of this Resolution
and enter it into the book of original Resolution.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of October, 2021.
