The owners of the property at the northeast corner of Hoover Avenue and 21st Street, known as J and C Properties, a California General Partnership, have offered to the City a deed for the dedication of a triangular piece of land, which is located at the southwest corner of their property. The dedication has been made in conjunction with the construction of street improvements infront of the property, and as a condition of approval for the development of the new Colonial Ford auto dealership. The project was recently completed and inspected on April 4, 1994. The area of the dedicated parcel is approximately 128 square feet. This resolution will also name the dedicated parcel of land, Hoover Avenue and 21st Street. '!P.c RESOLUTION NO. 94-46 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY FROM J & C PROPERTIES, DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF A GRANT DEED, AND DEDICATING AND NAMING A PARCEL OF LAND AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF HOOVER AVENUE AND 21ST STREET (A.P.N. 560-392-11) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that pursuant to Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to execute a Certificate of Acceptance and to record the following instrument conveying an interest in real estate to the City of National City: GRANT DEED dated April 11, 1994 from J & C Properties BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the real property described in the attached Exhibit "A" and depicted in Exhibit "B" was conveyed to the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY for street purposes. 2. That the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY desires that said property be dedicated for public street purposes. That the described parcel of land in Exhibit "A" shall henceforth be known as Hoover Avenue and 21st Street. PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 1994.
