EXPLANATION
The owner of the property at 1850 E. 9th Street has submitted to
the City of National City a deed for the dedication of portions of
his property, consisting of two parcels of land northerly and
southerly of 9th Street, just south of "R" Avenue, for street
right-of-way purposes.
The segments of the property being dedicated are the northerly 10
Ft. of the southerly parcel, located on the south side of 9th
Street, and the westerly 10 Ft. of the northerly parcel, located on
the north side of 9th Street (see attached plat).
The dedication of the two strips of properties is necessary due to
the widening and improvements of 9th Street from "R" Avenue to the
easterly end. The improvement of 9th Street was one of the
conditions of approval for a planned development permit for 1846 E.
9th Street. The project consisted of building a 6 unit apartment
at the easterly end of 9th Street. The entire project was
completed in December 1994. This resolution will also provide for
the naming of the dedicated parcels as E. 9th Street.

OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY,
DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF A GRANT DEED,
AND DEDICATING AND NAMING A PARCEL OF LAND
FOR STREET PURPOSES
(A.P.N. 557-200-13)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that
pursuant to Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to execute a
Certificate of Acceptance and to record the following instrument conveying an
interest in real estate to the City of National City:
GRANT DEED dated May 26, 1995 from Peter Drosi (APN 557-200-13)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the real property described in Exhibit "A", and shown on the Plat marked
Exhibit "B", was conveyed to the City of National City for street purposes.
2. That the City of National City desires that said property be dedicated for public
street purposes.
3. That the described parcel of land shall henceforth be known as East 9th Street.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1995.
