VEGA, DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF A GRANT DEED AND DEDICATING AND NAMING A PARCEL OF LAND AT 1838 E. 9TH STREET AS 9TH STREET (A.P.N. 557-200-15) PREPARED BY DEPARTMENT Sam Arabzadeh Engineering EXPLANATION, The owners of the property at 1838 E. 9th Street have submitted to the City of National City a deed for the dedication of the northerly 10 feet of their property fronting 9th Street, east of "R" Avenue, for public right-of-way purposes. The dedication of the parcel of land is necessary due to the overall improvement of 9th Street, from "R" Avenue to the easterly end, which was required from the adjacent property owners at 1846 E. 9th Street, as a condition of approval of their planned development permit to construct 6 units of apartments in the back of their property. This project was completed in December 1994. The parcel of land offered for dedication is 10 feet wide and approximately 210 feet long. This resolution will also provide for the naming of the dedicated parcel as E. 9th Street. CITY ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY, DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF A GRANT DEED, AND DEDICATING AND NAMING A PARCEL OF LAND FOR STREET PURPOSES (A.P.N. 557-200-15) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that pursuant to Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to execute a Certificate of Acceptance and to record the following instrument conveying an interest in real estate to the City of National City: GRANT DEED dated June 3, 1995 from Gustavo Vega and Belinda M. Vega, husband and wife (APN 557-200-15) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the real property described in Exhibit "A", and shown on the Plat marked Exhibit "B", was conveyed to the City. of National City for street purposes. 2. That the City of National City desires that said property be dedicated for public street purposes. 3. That the described parcel of land shall henceforth be known as East 9th Street.
