DivisionCity of National City, California COUNCIL AGENDA STATEMENT .MEETING DATE SEPTEMBER 21, 1999 ool-i-l� AGENDA ITEM NO. 23 ITEM TITLE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE, THE NAMING, AND\ AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF THE EASEMENT DOCUMENTS FOR STREET PURPOSES FOR A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT 2930 E. DIVISION STREET PREPARED BY DIN DANESHFAR DEPARTMENT ENGINEERING EXPLANATION The owners of the property at 2930 E. Division Street, A.P.N. 554-082-06 have offered to convey to the City a portion of their property which is needed for the street improvements along Division Street. The offer is based upon the City purchasing the portion of their property. The opening of the escrow account to accomplish the purchase is the subject of another item on this Council agenda. The street improvements on Division Street will be reconstructed by the City of National City at no cost to the property owners. The area of the dedicated parcel is described on the attached easement document. This resolution also renames the dedicated parcel of land as Division Street. The Engineering Department will forward the Easement Deed to the Escrow Company, for recordation after the acceptance of the permit Agreement by the City. Plat Resolution No. 99-160 A-20Q ,(9/$0) taaivil8 RESOLUTION NO. 99-160 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE, AND AUTHORIZING I'HE RECORDATION OF THE EASEMENT DEED FOR STREET PURPOSES, AND AUTHORIZING THE NAMING OF A PARCEL OF LAND ON DIVISION STREET (2930 East Division Street, A.P.N. 554-082-06) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that pursuant to Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to execute a Certificate of Acceptance for the following instrument conveying an interest real estate to the City of National City: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the City Engineer is hereby ordered to cause the recordation of the following instrument: EASEMENT DEED dated November 25, 1998, from Allan Roebuck and Sharon E. Roebuck, (A.P.N. 554-082-06). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows: 1. That Allan Roebuck and Sharon E. Roebuck have conveyed the real property described in the attached Exhibit "A" to the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY for street. purposes. 2. That the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY desires that said property be dedicated for street purposes. 3.
