EXPLANATION
The owners of the property at 5 N. Harbison Avenue, A.P.N. 554-102-01
have offered to dedicate to the City, a portion of their property which is
needed for the street improvements along Division Street. The offer is
based upon the City purchasing the portion of their property. The opening
of the escrow account to accomplish the purchase is the subject of another
item on this agenda. The street improvements on Division Street will be
reconstructed by the City of National City at no cost to the property
owners.
The area of the dedicated parcel is described on the attached easement
document. This resolution also renames the dedicated parcel of land as
Division Street.
The Engineering Department will forward the Easement Deed to the Escrow
Company, for recordation after the acceptance of the conveyance by the
City.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NATIONAL CITY ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE,
AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF 1HE
EASEMENT DEED FOR STREET PURPOSES, AND
AUTHORIZING 1'HE NAMING OF A PARCEL
OF LAND ON DIVISION STREET

BE 1T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that pursuant
to Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to execute a Certificate of Acceptance and
to record`the following instrument conveying an interest real estate to the City of National City:
EASEMENT DEED dated December 4, 1998, Jose Gonzalez and Yolanda Gonzalez,
(A.P.N. 554-102-01).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows:
10. That Jose Gonzalez and Yolanda Gonzalez have conveyed the real property described in
the attached Exhibit "A" to the CITY OF NATIONAL C1TY for street purposes.
11. That the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY desires that said property be dedicated for street
purposes.
12. That the described parcel of land in Exhibit "A" shall henceforth be known as a portion
of Division Street.
