ITEM TITLE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE, THE NAMING, AND\ AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF THE EASEMENT DOCUMENT FOR STREET PURPOSES FOR A PARCEL OF LAND ON BELMONT AVENUE AND DIVISION STREET PREPARED BY Din Daneshfar DEPARTMENT Engineering EXPLANATION The owners of the property at 6 N. Belmont Avenue, A.P.N. 552-322-13 have offered to dedicate to the City, a portion of their property which is needed for the street improvements along Division Street. The offer is based upon the City purchasing the portion of their property. The opening of the escrow account to accomplish the purchase is the subject of another item on this agenda. The street improvements on Division Street will be reconstructed by the City of National City at no cost to the property owners. The area of the dedicated parcel is described on the attached easement document. This resolution also renames the dedicated parcel of land as Belmont Avenue and Division Street. The Engineering Department will forward the Easement Deed to the Escrow Company, for recordation after the acceptance of the conveyance by the City. Smith and Esther Smith, (A.P.N. 552-322-13). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows: 1. That Mickey G. Smith and Esther Smith have conveyed the real property described in the attached Exhibit "A" to the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY for street purposes. 2. That the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY desires that said property be dedicated for street purposes. 3.
