Division StreetCity of National City, California COUNCIL AGENDA STATEMENT MEETING DATE APRIL 27, 1999 AGENDA ITEM NO. 6 ITEM TITLE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE, NAMING AND AUTHORIZING \ THE RECORDATION OF THE EASEMENT DOCUMENT FOR STREET PURPOSES FOR A PARCEL OF LAND ON DIVISION STREET DIN DANESHFAR ENGINEERING PREPARED BY DEPARTMENT EXPLANATION The owners of the property at 3031 E. Division Street, A.P.N. 552-330-18 have offered to dedicate to the City, a portion of their property which is needed for the street improvements along Division street. The street improvements on Division Street will be reconstructed by the City of National City at no cost to the property owners. The area of the dedicated parcel is described on the attached easement document. This resolution will also rename the dedicated parcel of land as Division Street. The Engineering Department will forward the Grand Deed to the Escrow Company, for recordation after the acceptance of the conveyance by the City. Plat A-200 (9/80) divis7 RESOLUTION NO. 99 — 57 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF THE EASEMENT DOCUMENT FOR STREET PURPOSES, AND AUTHORIZING THE NAMING OF A PARCEL OF LAND ON DIVISION STREET BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that pursuant to Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to execute a Certificate of Acceptance and to record the following instrument conveying an interest real estate to the City of National City: EASEMENT DEED dated September 22, 1998 from Salvador Porfirio Barajas and Anita Barajas, (A.P.N.,552-330-18). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows: 1. That Salvador Porfirio Barajas and Anita Barajas have conveyed the real property described in the attached Exhibit "A" to the CITY OF NATIONAL C1TY for street purposes. 2. That the CITY OF NATIONAL C1TY desires that said property be dedicated for street purposes. 3. That the described parcels of land in Exhibit "A" shall henceforth be known as a portion of Division Street. PASSED and ADOPTED this 271h day of April, 1999.
