THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AND
HAMRICK & EVANS, LLP
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is entered into this day
of November, 2024, by and between the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal
corporation ("CITY"), and HAMRICK & EVANS, LLP, (the "FIRM").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the CITY and the FIRM entered into an Agreement on October 15,
2024 ("the Agreement"), wherein the FIRM agreed to assist in representing the CITY in
connection with litigation regarding the matter: Rosaura Delgado , et al. vs City of National
City, et ai., Case No.: 24CU013086C pursuant to this Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to include representing
the CITY in connection with litigation regarding the matter: Martin, et al. vs City of National
City, et al., Case No.: 24CU014995C.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree that:
1 . The October 15, 2024 Agreement is hereby amended to include litigation
regarding the matter Martin, et al. vs City of National City, et al., Case No.: 24CU014995C.
2. The parties further agree that, with the foregoing exceptions, each and every
other term and provision of the October 15, 2024 Agreement shall remain in full force and
effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment
to the Agreement on the date and year first above written.
