Approval of Minutes from the Meeting of June 5 , 2017. Motion by Baca, second by Yamane to approve the Minutes for the Meeting of June 5, 2017. Conditional Use Permit modification for disti11ed spirits at an existing beer and wine-licensed restaurant (Tita's II) located at 3421 East Plaza Boulevard . Motion by Sendt, second by Flores to close the Public Hearing for the Conditional Use Permit modification for distilled spirits at an existing beer and wine-licensed restaurant (Tita's II) located at 3421 East Plaza Boulevard. Conditional Use Permit for beer and wine sales at a new restaurant (Broken Yolk) located at 3030 Plaza Bonita Road Suite 1106. (Case File No.: 2017-15 CUP) Presented by Planning Technician Jessica Madamba. Applicant: Steve Rawlings on behalf of Broken Yolk and franchise owner Salvador Lombroso, have read, understand, and accept the conditions of the CUP. Motion by Yamane, second by Flores to close the Public Hearing for the Conditional Use Permit for beer and wine sales at a new restaurant (Broken Yolk) located at 3030 Plaza Bonita Road Suite 1106. (Case File No.: 2017-15 CUP} Motion by Flores, second by Sendt to approve Resolution 2017-18 taking action on a Conditional Use Permit for beer and wine sales at a new restaurant (Broken Yolk) located at 3030 Plaza Bonita Road Suite 1106. (Case File No.: ~017-15 CUP} Motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Baca, Yamane, Garcia, Sendt, Flores, Quintero Abstain: None. Noes: None. Absent: Dela Paz OTHER BUSINESS: None. STAFF REPORTS: City Attorney: Ms. Angil Morris-Jones advised that going forward the Public Hearings and their corresponding resolutions would be agendized as one agenda item versus the current two-step process. Brad Raulston, Deputy City Manager: As a follow-up to a question posed by a Commissioner at the meeting of June 5, 2017, Mr. Raulston reported that the solar panels located behind the Toys "R" Us were owned by the Sweetwater Authority associated with their adjacent desalination plant. He further advised that the widening of Plaza Blvd. was 99% complete. Principal Planners: None. COMMISSIONER REPORTS: Dela Paz: Absent. Quintero: Apologized for arriving late. Flores: None.
