the General Plan Update.
2.The proposed amendments would not be detrimental to the public convenience,
health, safety or general welfare of the city. The General Plan will promote the
health, safety and welfare of the City through the listed goals and policies included
within each element and the proposed Code Amendments are consistent with
National City's 6th Cycle 2021-2029 Housing Element.
3.The proposed project is in compliance with provisions of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). A Supplemental Program Environmental
Impact report was prepared for the project in conformance with CEQA Guidelines
Sections 15163 and 15168.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that based upon the findings set forth above, the
Planning Commission recommends that the City Council adopt the Ordinance amending
Title 18 of the municipal code and attached to this Resolution.
