RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
WITH DTA PUBLIC FINANCE, INC. DBA DTA TO EXTEND THE AGREEMENT BY TWO
YEARS TO DECEMBER 31, 2026 AND TO INCREASE THE NOT -TO -EXCEED AMOUNT BY
$13,730, FOR A TOTAL NOT -TO -EXCEED AMOUNT OF $58,990.
WHEREAS, on January 29, 2024, the City of National City ("City") entered into an
agreement with DTA Public Finance, Inc. dba DTA (formerly identified as "David Taussig and
Associates, Inc. dba DTA") to provide Development Impact Fee ("DIF") consulting services for a
not -to -exceed amount of $45,260, with an initial term of January 17, 2024 through December 31,
2024, with the option to extend for up to three (3) one-year extensions; and
WHEREAS, based on their performance and quality of work, and to ensure timely
completion of DIF consulting services necessitated by delays in adoption of new DIF, staff
recommends approval of a First Amendment to extend the term of the Agreement with DTA Public
Finance, Inc. dba DTA by two (2) years to December 31, 2026, and to increase the not -to -exceed
amount by $13,730, for a total not -to -exceed amount of $58,990.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute a First
Amendment to the agreement with DTA Public Finance, Inc. dba DTA to extend the agreement
by two years to December 31, 2026 and to increase the not -to -exceed amount by $13,730, for a
total not -to -exceed amount of $58,990.
Section 2: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
Resolution and enter it into the book of original Resolutions.
