RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
NO. 1 (MILE OF CARS) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-27.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously completed its proceedings in accordance with
and pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, Part 2, Division 15 of the California
Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 22500) (the "Act") to establish the City's
Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 (Mile of Cars) (the "Assessment District"); and
WHEREAS, the City has retained NBS as a consultant for the purpose of assisting with
the annual levy of the Assessment District, and the preparation and filing of an Annual Report;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has, by previous resolution, ordered NBS to prepare and
file the Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2026-27; and
WHEREAS, such Annual Report has been prepared and filed with the City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDERS AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby approves the Annual Report concerning the
levy of assessments for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
Resolution and enter it into the book of original Resolutions.
