BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AND
SOLANA CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL INNOVATION
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is entered into on this 1st day of April,
2026, by and between the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal corporation ("CITY"), and
SOLANA CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL INNOVATION, a California nonprofit corporation
(the "CONSULTANT").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the CITY and the CONSULTANT entered into an agreement on
November 1, 2024 (the "Agreement") for the term of November 1, 2024 through March
31, 2026, wherein the CONSULTANT agreed to provide SB 1383 compliance support
services for a not-to-exceed amount of $165,976, and an initial term of one (1) year and
five (5) months, with the option to extend this term for one (1) one-year extension; and
WHEREAS, based on the CONSULTANT's performance and quality of work, and
to ensure continued timely compliance with SB 1383 requirements, the CITY wants to
have the CONSULTANT continue providing SB 1383 compliance support services for the
CITY, and the CONSULTANT is willing to perform such services; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement by exercising the one (1)
one-year extension to extend the term of the Agreement to March 31, 2027.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree that:
1. The November 1, 2024 Agreement is amended to extend the term of the
Agreement by one (1) year to March 31, 2027.
2. The parties further agree that, with the foregoing exceptions, each and every
other term and provision of the November 1, 2024 Agreement shall remain in
full force and effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment
to the Agreement on the date and year first above written.
