FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AND
LIGHTHOUSE LAND ADVISORY INC
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is entered into this 23'1 day of May,
2026, by and between the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal corporation("CITY"), and
LIGHTHOUSE LAND ADVISORY INC(CONSULTANT").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on May 22, 2025, the City and Lighthouse Land Development LLC entered
into an Agreement for professional consulting services related to commercial real estate,economic
development,public partnerships,and public-private partnerships within and related to the CITY's
jurisdiction("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, Lighthouse Land Development LLC changed its name to Lightouse Land
Advisory Inc. and assigned its rights, benefits and obligations under the Agreement to
CONSULTANT; and
WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement expired on May 22, 2026, and the CITY desires
to continue utilizing CONSULTANT's professional services in support of ongoing economic
development initiatives and strategic partnership coordination; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend the term of the
Agreement by two months and increase the not-to-exceed compensation amount from$42,000 to
$49,000.
AGREEMENT
NOW,THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
1. The May 22, 2025 Agreement is hereby amended to extend the term of the Agreement
through July 22, 2026 and to increase the not-to-exceed compensation amount from
$42,000 to $49,000.
2. The parties further agree that,with the foregoing exceptions, each and every other term
and provision of the May 22,2025 Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
