Change Order No. 7 provides for:
Documenting the contractors requested adjustment to the required potholing sequence.
Supporting Information:
Under Contracts Specification Section 5—Utilities,all utility potholing is to be completed prior to beginning
construction to avoid conflicts,rework,and interruption of production.At the contractor's request,the City
acknowledges that the contractor will proceed with potholing concurrently with construction activities rather than
completing all potholes in advance.This does not waive any contract requirements and sole acknowledges the
contractor's chosen means and methods.The contractor accepts full responsibility and liability for all impacts
resulting from incomplete potholing,including,but not limited to utility conflicts,delays,damages,re-excavation,
additional traffic control,re-sequencing,or any other operation disruptions caused by encountering utilities during
construction.
Time and Cost Adjustment:
This is a no-cost, no-time change order.

This Change Order modifies Contractor's and the City's obligations and rights under the abovementioned
contract. This change order is not effective until approved by the City.
Time adjustment:
Zero(0)working days are added to contract time.
Cost of Change Order:
This change order documents the contractor's requested adjustment to the required potholing
sequence.Under Contracts Specification Section 5—Utilities,all utility potholing is to be completed prior
to beginning construction to avoid conflicts,rework,and interruption of production.At the contractor's

time extensions may be sought for issues arising from this modified sequencing and that all schedule or

Nothing in this change order modifies or waives the contractor's responsibilities under Special Provisions
Section 5-1.27.The contractor remains fully responsible for locating, identifying,and verifying all utilities shc"."^ an Qom:

documents.This is a no-cost, no-time change order.

By signing this Change Order the Contractor confirms that he/she is completely familiar with and has fairly
negotiated its price, terms and conditions. If this Change Order is approved, Contractor will provide all of the
equipment,materials and labor necessary to provide a complete work as described above at that the price stated
herein. Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete and represents all costs associated with the work,
including but not limited to all equipment,materials,labor,supervision,overhead,fees,bonds,insurance,profit,
etc. and that there will be no further compensation. All of the terms and conditions of the original contract
documents are incorporated herein. The signer for the Contractor confirms that he/she is authorized to bind the
Contractor to this Change Order.
