Change Order No. 1 provides for:
Surveying and staking of the proposed fence line.
Supporting Information:
During the design phase of the project,a formal land survey was not performed to accurately identify the location
of the proposed fence line.As a result,the design documents did not include surveyed information showing the
precise alignment of the fence relative to parcel boundaries or existing easements.
During construction,the City requested verification that the proposed fence would be installed within the City's
right-of-way and would not encroach onto the adjacent private property. In response,the Project Manager and the
contractor's licensed land surveyor reviewed all relevant parcel data,right-of-way limits,and recorded easements
to determine and confirm the correct location of the proposed fence line.
This additional surveying effort was necessary to ensure proper placement of the fence in compliance with City
requirements and to avoid potential property conflicts.
Time Adjustment:
Two(2)working days are to be added to the Contract for additional time required to survey the fence line.
Cost Adjustment:
The additional cost for this change in the scope of work has been agreed upon at a lump price of$3,750.00.
The pay method and amount have been reviewed by the Project Manager and are considered fair and reasonable.

This Change Order modifies Contractor's and the City's obligations and rights under the abovementioned
contract. This change order is not effective until approved by the City.
Time adlustment:
Two(2)working days are to be added to the Contract for additional time required to survey the fence ,
line prior to Installation.
Cgstofhslni;e Order:
The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall proceed with surveying and staking the
proposed fence line as needed.Work shall include review off all easements and parcel information
provided by the City and the County of San Diego and onsite survey and mark out of the proposed fence
line within the City Right-of-Way.The total amount for all labor,material,equipment and all other
associated work is$3,750.00

By signing this Change Order the Contractor confirms that he/she is completely familiar with and has fairly
negotiated its price,terms and conditions.If this Change Order is approved,Contractor will provide all of the
equipment,materials and labor necessary to provide a complete work as described above at that the price
stated herein. Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete and represents all costs associated with
the work, Including but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, overhead, fees, bonds,
insurance,profit,etc.and that there will be no further compensation. All of the terms and conditions of the
original contract documents are incorporated herein. The signer for the Contractor confirms that he/she is
authorized to bind the Contractor to this Change Order.
