It is the intention of your City Council of the City of National City to be receptive to your concerns
in this community. Your participation in local government will assure a responsible and efficient
City of National City. We invite you to bring to the attention of the City Manager/Executive
Director any matter that you desire the City Council of the City of National City to consider. We
thank you for your presence and wish you to know that we appreciate your involvement.

Consent Calendar: Consent calendar items involve matters, which are of a routine
or noncontroversial nature. All consent calendar items are adopted by approval of a
single motion by the City Council. Prior to such approval, any item may be removed
from the consent portion of the agenda and separately considered, upon request of
a Councilmember, a staff member, or a member of the public.

will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as the matter may be considered, in the Main Conference Room at the Civic
Center, 1243 National City Boulevard, National City, California, 91950. The business to
be transacted at said meeting will be for the City Council to consider the following:

RESOLUTION NO. 2012 —
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
DELEGATING TO AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HER
DESIGNEE TO REMIT PAYMENT TO THE COUNTY, AS DEMANDED BY
THE STATE PURSUANT TO AB 1484 (KNOWN AS THE "TRUE -UP PROCESS"
BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE), FROM AVAILABLE
FUNDS AS DETERMINED BY THE CITY MANAGER
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
National City does hereby delegate and authorize the City Manager or her designee to remit
payment to the County, as demanded by the State pursuant to AB 1484 (known as the "True -up
