"He kept it all going, even when he wasn't feeling well," she said. Frank King's stepson, Steven Baker, said Mr. King always glowed on Christmas Day. "He loved watching the kids' faces when they were getting their gifts," Baker said. "This really is a grass -roots program; they do it out of their home on a shoestring budget. He took out a loan to build a huge garage in the backyard to hold the toys." Mr. King knew his death was imminent and made arrangements for a friend from the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club to take over the giveaway. "He knew the program had to go on no matter what," Baker said. Members of the club have been frequent volunteers at the annual toy giveaway. Although Mr. King did not belong to a motorcycle club, he enjoyed participating in biker toy runs for St. Vincent de Paul Village and other charities. In addition to his wife and stepson, Mr. King is survived by a sister, Jeanette Hughes of Florida; a brother, Lloyd of Flint, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and rr great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three stepchildren. Funeral services are pending. Blanca Gonzalez: (76o) 737-7576; blanca.gonzalez@uniontrib.com Coffee Bean Melts Fat?
