Council` Member Sotelo Solis ,reminded:: everyone about the Quarterly Neighborhood Council Breakfast on Saturday'' Council Member Rios requested staff look into football practices taking place at El Toyon Park and an on -going car wash taking place at Plaza Boulevard and 8th Street. Council Member, no spoke of the need for maintenance in the medians along Highland Avenue and National City Blvd. Mayor Morrison reported on the recent rate increase hearing held by the Sweetwater Water Authority. CLOSED SESSION REPORT City Attorney Claudia Silva stated there was nothing to report from the Closed Session. Council Member Sotelo-Solis spoke about the Sweetwater High School field dedication and the upcoming Halloween Tower of Terror event, commented on the importance of working together on the food truck issue and advised that she would be participating in the 19th Annual MANA de San Diego Gala event on October 17th.
