RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF A BLUE CURB HANDICAP
PARKING SPACE WITH SIGN AT 1036 HOOVER AVENUE
WHEREAS, a resident with a disabled placard requested the installation of a blue
curb handicap parking space in front of his home at 1036 Hoover Avenue; and
WHEREAS, after conducting an inspection and review of the site, staff
determined that all conditions have been met for the property to qualify for a blue curb handicap
parking space; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee approved staff's recommendation at its
February 12, 2014 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
National City hereby authorizes the installation of a blue curb handicap parking space with sign
in front of the residence at 1036 Hoover Avenue.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 2014.
