HomeMy WebLinkAbout2003 CON National City Community Concert Band - Musical ProgramPERFORMANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AND THE NATIONAL CITY COMMUNITY CONCERT BAND ("NCCCB") Agreement, as follows, by the National City Community Concert Band ("NCCCB") and the City of National City: 1. The NCCCB will perform one summer pops concert on Sunday, August 10, 2003, at 6:00 p.m., outdoors at Pepper Park in National City. 2. The NCCCB will perform various works, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in length, to be determined by the National City City Council. 3. The NCCCB will provide a concert band of at least 40 musicians, conductor, soloists (depending upon the program selected), stage, sound, music, musician chairs, and music stands. NCCCB will also provide stand lights and equipment for the musicians and appropriate stage crew to do the set-up. 4. The NCCCB will be paid the sum of $22,500 for the performance. If for any reason the concert is cancelled, only the sum necessary to cover expenses (not to exceed $22,500) will be due. Their fee is $22,500. Attached is information regarding the choices for the musical program. Staff will once again work with the band and the Port District to coordinate the event. A representative of the National City Concert Band will be in attendance to answer any questions.
