This Amendment to Agreement is made and entered into this 2"d day of
October, 2003, by and between the Community Development Commission of
the City of National City, a community development commission, hereinafter
referred to as the "CDC", and Famania Construction, Inc. hereinafter referred to
as "Famania".
RECITALS
A. CDC and the Famania entered into a Contractual Agreement ("the
Agreement") on July 15, 2003 for the repair of the Frank Kimball House.
B. CDC and Famania desire to approve an amendment to the agreement to
provide an additional $14,765.22 in additional funds for additional repairs
as outline in Exhibits "A, B and C", including fumigation and exterior stair
repairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties mutually agree that the Agreement is amended
to provide that the CDC will provide an additional $14,765.22 in funds for
additional repairs to be performed by Famania, as outlined in Exhibits "A, B and
C".
With the foregoing exceptions, each and every provision of the Agreement dated
July 15, 2003 shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to
this Agreement of the date and year first above written.

Type of Work Stair Wood Replacement
Upon acceptance of work we are hearby authorized to make the following changes in our work on
the above caption project, it is being understood that this change be executed under the
terms and conditions of our contract
Description of work:
Front stairs: remove and replace 20 ea. balisters, remove rotted wood @ stringers & fill w/ abitron.
South stairs: remove and replace post column base w/ retrofit type on existing concrete.
North stairs: remove & replace 10 ea. balisters, & 1 ea. deck board, remove rotted wood @
stringer & @ balister base 2x4 and fill with abitron.
Rear stairs: remove & replace entire lowest section of stair except reuse treads, @ middle section
remove & replace left side stringer & 10 balisters reuse all existing lumber & treads, @ middle
& top sections remove rotted wood and fill with abriton, @ (2) full hieght 4x4 post, cut bottom 6"
and add raised concrete footing over existing w/ (2) new CB44 post base.
Upper front porch railing: remove & replace north side railing completely to match existing, also
replace skirts & deck to rail blocking.
Note: This proposal only covers work described above and nothing more.
