HomeMy WebLinkAbout2003 CON CDC Famania Construction - 2nd Amendment KimballSECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT This Second Amendment to Agreement is made and entered into this 23nd day of October, 2003, by and between the Community Development Commission of the City of National City, a community development commission, hereinafter referred to as the "CDC", and Famania Construction, Inc. hereinafter referred to as "Famania". RECITALS A. CDC and the Famania entered into a Contractual Agreement ("the Agreement") on July 15, 2003 for the repair of the Frank Kimball House. B. CDC and Famania desire to approve an amendment to the agreement to provide an additional $2,021.84 in additional funds for the repair of the upper front porch railing, as outline in Exhibits "D". NOW, THEREFORE, the parties mutually agree that the Agreement is amended to provide that the CDC will provide an additional $2,021.84 in funds for additional repairs to be performed by Famania, as outlined in Exhibits "D". With the foregoing exceptions, each and every provision of the Agreement dated July 15, 2003 shall remain in full force and effect. No. 03-005 CIP No. 900005 Type of Work Guardrail Wood Replacement Upon acceptance of work we are hearby authorized to make the following changes in our work on the above caption project, it is being understood that this change be executed under the terms and conditions of our contract Description of work: Upper front porch railing: Remove & replace all guardrails including 4x4 post completely, install new guardrails with new 4x4 post secured to floor joist @ 6' O.C. and new 2x4 bottom & top horizontal rails on side and new 2x6 top cap. Also install new 2x2 @ 4" O.C. between post. Work to includes cutting out existing plywood deck and replacing it, in order to secure new 4x4's. All wood to be douglas fur and primed and per original contract. Note: This proposal only covers work described above and nothing more.
